What happened to watchX?

Hello everyone👋

It's been some time since we discontinued the sale of watchX, which was during the chip crisis. Prices of chips rose sharply and their lead times significantly surged. 

Even though we had made significant improvements, we decided to pause watchX for the time being.

Housing made from plastic injection molding👈

We aimed for watchX to be suitable for daily wear without giving off a DIY watch vibe. Hence we designed a plastic injection molded housing. We have incorporated overmolded thread inserts into the housing to enhance durability during frequent assembly and disassembly.

We are pleased with the tactile response of the buttons(which is machined out of steel rod) and the fitting of the components in the housing. There is limited opportunity to modify the mold if the end result is unsatisfactory.

We are very happy with the end result.
